Mr. Salah Bates, the head of #Owais_Al-Qarni_Waqf, received Moataz Munif Al-Jaifi, the Yemeni rising chess champion, at the Waqf headquarters in Istanbul. He gave a brief explanation on his sports career in chess.

The head of Waqf, in his turn, expressed his sincere congratulations to the rising international chess champion on winning the first place in the International Chess Championship that was held in Egypt recently. In his speech, he stressed that one of the paths of the Waqf programs towards the civilizational advancement in Yemen was the interest in the qualification and care of the superior, talented and creative persons in the various fields for preparing them to be the leaders of the future.

Munir Al-Jaifi, the chess champion, wrote down words that expressed his admiration for Waqf in the register of

visits, wishing that it would achieve its objectives concerning the development and advancement of Yemen.

He was also received by Mr. Salah Al-Din Al-Qiyadhi, Executive Director of Waqf.
